The Electrical Engineering Program is an academic transfer program for students intending to complete a bachelor’s degree
in electrical engineering at a four-year institution. The curriculum emphasizes math, engineering sciences, natural sciences,
and general education coursework. General education core requirements are completed at the transfer institution.
Electrical engineers work in energy generation and transmission, communications, control systems, circuit design and computers. Electrical engineers are involved in a wide range of projects including research, development, product design, testing, and sales and marketing.
Completion of the following courses is designed to result in an associate’s degree in engineering and does not meet the general education requirements at all Idaho public universities. Course selection should be coordinated to meet the requirements for your intended transfer institution.
